RENTAL CONDITIONS

TERRITORY OF AUTO USE

You can use a rental car only in Ukraine. It is forbidden to leave Ukraine.

INSURANCE

Black Rentalcars are insured by one of the leaders of the insurance market in Ukraine – the insurance company PJSC “USK KNYAZHA VIENNA INSURANCE GROUP” under the following insurance programs:

1. Compulsory insurance of civil liability of owners of land vehicles (OTSPV), which provides reimbursement of expenses for damage to life and health to third parties within the limit of 260 thousand. UAH and for damage to property of third parties within 130 thousand0 тис. UAH
2. Voluntary insurance of civil liability of owners of land vehicles, which additionally provides coverage + 100 thousand. UAH for damage to property of third parties.
3. Voluntary insurance of land vehicle (Full CASCO), which covers the cost of repairing the car in case of an accident, natural disaster, illegal actions of third parties, fire, explosion, other accidental events, illegal seizure.

Please note that insurance contracts do not cover the personal liability of the car tenant in the event of an accident, damage, or theft. The optional Full Coverage option will help reduce these penalties to zero.

PLEDGE

The deposit is fixed at €250.00 and does not depend on the selected car class and coverage package. The deposit is made after signing the contract and is returned to the Lessee upon fulfillment of the terms of the contract at the time of handing over the car to the Lessor.

FUEL

All Black Rental rental cars in Lviv and Kyiv are delivered with a full tank. When you return, you have 3 options:

1. Return the car with a full tank.
   • You return the rental car with a full tank of gas, and you will not be charged, even if you chose the “prepaid fuel” option.
2. Fuel subscription.
   • You can pay in advance for a full tank of fuel when receiving or booking a car on the site, so as not to waste time at the gas station at the end of the trip.
3. If you return the car not with a full tank and without selecting the “prepayment for fuel” option in advance, we can refuel the car ourselves, counting each liter of fuel at a fixed price of €2.00

RUN

Black Rentalhas no mileage restrictions or extra rates when renting a car from one day.

USE OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS IN A RENTAL CAR

The consumption of tobacco products and the use of devices for tobacco consumption, in particular, electronic devices for heating tobacco, electronic cigarettes, hookahs, in a car used by the Hirer is prohibited. The hirer is obliged to pay a fine in the amount of €20.00, in hryvnia equivalent according to the official exchange rate of the NBU as of the day of payment or in euro or US dollars according to the official cross rate as of the day of payment.

SUBLEASE RENTAL CAR

The Renter is prohibited from publishing the Car and its photos for the purpose of sale or sublease on the RST, AutoRia, OLX web services or other electronic resources. Such actions are a gross violation of the terms of this contract. In such a case, the Lessor fixes the posted ads on the relevant resources and has the right to unilaterally terminate this contract. The Lessor may demand the immediate return of the rented Vehicle and withhold all funds of the guarantee deposit for such violation of the terms of the contract as a fine

RETURN OF THE CAR

We understand that you can linger, so we try to be flexible. If you are late or want to continue renting a car, contact us as soon as possible. After all, if you return the car later and do not notify us in advance, you may be charged an additional fee for late return.

How is the surcharge for late return of the car calculated?

If you return the car after the agreed date and time, then you pay an additional fee for it.

If you still have the car in 24 hours, you will be charged another surcharge according to your rate per day. This amount will be charged every 24 hours until the car is returned to us.

If you return the car after 2 hours of the agreed time or during non-working hours, an additional fee of €20.00 will be charged

DETERMINATION OF NATURAL WEAR OF CARS

• Maintenance and documentation.
  • Regular maintenance and repairs should be performed in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. Instructions for use of the vehicle, service book and other documentation on the vehicle and equipment are located directly in the vehicle and must be carefully stored, available at all times.
• Appearance of the vehicle.
  • Regular cleaning and washing of the vehicle both outside and inside should ensure good cosmetic condition and appearance of the vehicle.
• Additional equipment.
  • The Lessee must return the vehicle with serviceable additional equipment installed by the Lessor. The Lessee has no right to install any additional equipment on the Landlord’s vehicle received for hire.
• Signs and emblems.
  • The lessee is not allowed to place non-standard signs, emblems or advertising posters on the body or glass of the vehicle. Advertising should never be placed on the vehicle.

APPEARANCE OF VEHICLES

• Damage to body parts.
  • Any damage to body parts or the body of the vehicle must be repaired as soon as it appears. All work to eliminate such damage must be performed professionally with the use of anti-corrosion guarantees. Obvious traces of repair are not allowed.
• Dents.
  • Minor dents (up to 5 mm) are allowed, provided there is no penetrating damage to the lacquer layer of the vehicle surface to the metal base. If multiple dents appear on the same panel, regardless of their size, the panel must be repaired or replaced.
• Paint and varnish coating.
  • Minor damage from stone crumbs, chipping on the door edges and minor scratches (not more than 25 mm) are allowed depending on the age and mileage of the vehicle, provided that they do not cause through damage to the metal base and do not cause corrosion. The outer surface of the paintwork must be free from significant mechanical damage (not more than 25 mm) and have a good color and gloss.
• Bumper and rubber elements.
  • If the above parts of the vehicle are not damaged, not distorted, not deformed, the presence of a small number of marks and scratches is allowed.
• Windshield.
  • Cracks and damage to the glass in the driver’s field of vision are not allowed. Light scratches and slight chipping on the periphery of the windshield are allowed as part of natural wear.
• Headlight glass.
  • All lighting fixtures must be in working order. Minor scratches or marks are allowed. But penetrating damage to the glass or plastic lampshades are not allowed.

INTERIOR APPEARANCE

• Interior decoration.
  • The interior of the vehicle must be kept clean and tidy, without visible traces of missing, holes or stains on the seats, covers or mats.
• Luggage compartment.
  • Scratches on the surface and minor marks as a result of natural wear of the vehicle are allowed, but the bottom cover and finished panels must be free of cracks and crevices.
• Door openings.
  • A small amount of scratches is allowed in the doorways, and the luggage compartment and ceiling, but provided that the varnish layer is not damaged to the metal base and rubber gaskets are also not damaged.
• Control devices.
  • All vehicle control levers must be intact and undamaged and in working order. No traces of unauthorized modifications of the speedometer are allowed. Missing parts and items must be replaced.
• Rubber seal.
  • Natural wear and tear will cause minor damage and cracks in the door rubber and other sealing elements, but any traces of improper treatment are not allowed.

BOTTOM OF THE CAR

• Bottom.
  • Minor dents and deformations, such as from stones, are allowed, provided that such damage does not lead to significant corrosion. Significant damage and deformation of the chassis are not allowed.
• Exhaust system.
  • The system must be in working order without damage, no gas leaks or traces of explosion of accumulated exhaust gases. Catalyst failure is not allowed.
• Oil leak.
  • Any visible oil leaks should be eliminated as soon as possible.
• Wheels and wheel trim.
  • Dents and damage to the wheels are not allowed.
• Tire wear and damage.
  • Obvious damage to the side surfaces or tread of the tire, which is the result of improper access to the roadside or other gross violations, shall not be allowed.

MECHANICAL CONDITION

Can not be considered natural wear and tear of vehicles:

• Brake system.
  • Destruction of the surface of the brake discs as a result of contact with metal or cold water.
• Engine.
  • Jamming of the engine during the movement of the vehicle as a result of lack of lubricating or coolant, oil, or as a result of destruction of internal components.
• Transmission.
  • Sensible vibration on the body during or at the beginning of the movement, uncharacteristic knocking, squeaking, burning smell, slipping, sticking or delayed gear change, complete absence of one / more gears, CHECK on the dashboard, full stop car.
